The short version
We collect only what we need to run a camp safely. Medical and consent information is held in a secure system, seen only by the people running your child's camp, and deleted after the programme year. We never sell your data.
Who we are
Maths Camps is a national programme delivered in partnership with schools, universities and delivery partners across England. For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is the organisation named at the foot of this page. Placeholder copy — the final text is supplied by the client.
What we collect
We collect information at three points: when a school registers interest, when a teacher nominates a pupil, and when a parent or carer completes the participant forms.
Medical and consent data
Information about a pupil's health is special category data and is handled accordingly. It is entered directly into our secure participant system rather than sent by email, is visible only to the camp team who need it, and is removed at the end of the programme year.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the programme team using the contact details in Key information and we will respond within one month.
